Buffy was one of the original founders of the non-profit organization, recognizing that as opportunities for cultural knowledge expanded, a gap emerged in parental and grandparental support for children’s growth and generational understanding. Many parents and grandparents wanted to embrace these opportunities while nurturing the younger generation, actively seeking ways to assist and support their development.

Through numerous successful projects and events, Buffy has been able to create a nurturing environment that fosters inclusion, progress, and collaboration among businesses, youth, parents, and grandparents on a multicultural level. This work has allowed her to give back, grow, and strengthen community ties.

This approach not only empowers entrepreneurs but also highlights the connection between generational wealth and the safeguarding of assets, as well as the Indigenous practice of considering the impact on seven future generations.

Having witnessed many First Nations communities struggle with poverty, inadequate services, and detrimental financial habits, Buffy understands how these factors can hinder healthy living within homes and communities.
